The Kitchen Fire Suppression System is a specialized automatic fire protection solution designed to protect commercial kitchens from fires caused by cooking oils, fats, grease, and high-temperature cooking equipment. It is essential for restaurants, hotels, cloud kitchens, food courts, and industrial kitchens.
This system uses a wet chemical fire extinguishing agent that rapidly suppresses Class K fires by cooling the flames and forming a saponification layer over burning oil, effectively preventing re-ignition. The system activates automatically through fusible links or LHS (Linear Heat Sensing) cable installed in the kitchen hood, plenum, and exhaust duct.
Upon activation, the agent is discharged through strategically positioned nozzles over fryers, grills, ranges, chapati makers, and cooking surfaces, while simultaneously triggering gas or electrical shut-off and alarm systems for enhanced safety.
